Obiettivo

The project involves the purchase of machinery, namely:

  • VPI – vacuum and pressure impregnation system for electric windings: . The new system allows the processing of motors up to 2,200 mm in diameter (+46% compared to the current one), a resin height of 1,500 mm, and a load capacity of 3,000 kg, thus expanding the number of motors that can be processed and, above all, automating and standardising processing;
  • Electric overhead crane: it is characterised by hoist lifting by means of two-speed inverters and bridge and carriage sliding by means of inverters;

and tools, such as:

  • Vibration data collection device with triaxial sensor: small, portable, USB-powered 4-channel data collection system for sound and vibration measurement;
  • Laser alignment device for drive shafts: portable, wireless instrument with integrated app that can be integrated into the company’s system.

Risultato

The acquisition of machinery and instrumentation makes it possible to optimise logistics within the company, but above all, it allows te company to increase production capacity. In addition to this, the introduction of instrumentation, such as vibration analysis and axis alignment, makes it possible to expand the offering to customers, and to implement an additional system for monitoring the quality of outgoing products. The portability of the instruments, as well as the calibration certification with which they are supplied, also allows these services to be offered at the customer’s premises, as a service, a condition increasingly sought by customers.
